  一、教材分析

  Section B是在对Section A 进行了感知和体验的基础上,更进一步落实听、说、读、写的训练,从而达到学以至用的目的。Section B主要是围绕“healthy lifestyle”的话题,在Section A“exercise”话题基础上的延伸,旨在教育学生要有一个健康的生活习惯,才能有一个健康的体魄。听力和对话主要练习“how often”句型,3a部分知识点较多,应作为重点讲授对象。Selfcheck是对整个单元知识内容的复习,两部分都以练习的形式对单词和频度副词进行了巩固和运用。SectionB & Selfcheck分两课时,Section B 1a-3a和Section B 3a-Selfcheck 2

  Section B (Period III Section B 1a-3a)

  二、教学目标:

  I. 语言目标:

  1. Words &phrases:

  junk food, fruit, sleep, vegetable, chip, healthy, habit, lifestyle, grade, different, unhealthy etc.

  2. Sentences:

  Is her lifestyle the same as yours or different?

  What are the differences?

  I try to eat junk food only once a week.

  My healthy lifestyle helps me get good grades.

  能够谈论关于自己和他人健康方面的话题并恰当运用频率副词和短语。

  三、教学过程

  Step 1 Words:

  1. 以旧引新,利用实物和图片复习和讲授所用单词: junk food , milk ,coffee , chip , cola, chocolate , drink

  2.让学生区分出junk food和healthy food.

  3. Look and match

  Match the words with the pictures. Ss do by themselves , then check the answers .

  4.Read and write the new words .

  Step2.Pairwork:

  1. Presentation

  Show a picture of milk and ask the students

  T:Do you like milk ?

  Ss:Yes , I do .

  T:How often do you drink milk ?

  Ss:I drink it every day / morning / night/ twice a day 。。。

  2. Practice

  Read the conversation in 1b , understnad the meaning of " want sb. to do sth. " and " be good for " , Let the students make sentences .

  2.Explaination:

  Let the students read the article again and find the language points that they don’t understand.

  (1)pretty表示“十分”作副词用,我们以前学过quite和very也有这种意思。其中它们的程度由浅入深为quite→pretty→very.

  Lucy can sing English songs very well.

  (2)I exercise every day, usually when I come home from school.

  我每天锻炼身体,通常是放学后。

  Then tell your classmates about your survey and listen to your classmates about their surveys. Take a vote: who is the healthiest student in the class?
