  二、教学重难点:1.I'd like to work outside.

  2.I'll help clean up the city park.

  3.You could give out food at a food bank.

  三、教学准备:录音机、有关的音乐带.

  四、教学方法: 主要采用任务型教学,主要的教学任务:

  Task one: Listening

  What can you see in the picture?

  T: Look at the new words. Listen to the tape first , then read after it.

  ( Ss read. )

  T: Now, have three Ss read the new words.

  (Ss read.)

  T: OK. Next, memorize the new words in groups.

  (T checks the new words in Chinese .Then T explains. )

  T : Look at these phrasal verbs. Who can tell me what their meaning is in English.

  Phrasal Verb Meaning cheer up make someone happier set up establish, start come up with think up (Ss answer. )

  T: Look at the screen . Look at the bulletin board and read about ways you could help people. Then list other ways you could help people.

  T: Then make some sentences with the phrasal verbs.

  set up: We're going to set up a food bank to help hungry people.

  T: Look at the screen . Discuss, What can you see in the picture?

  What are they doing?

  Would you like to do if you want to be volunteers?

  Would you like to help others?
