  初中三年的英语学习,对于所有受正规教育的学生而言,是具有决定性作用的三年。当今学生开始学外语的年龄有逐渐提前的趋势(姑且无论其优劣),学生一般在进入初中之始已经具有一定的外语基础,但那种只能算是建立在新鲜感之上的对外语的好奇,真正开始意识到自己所学为何物的,还看初中这三年。利用初中三年充分培养对英语的兴趣,找到学习外语的感觉,对以后能自由的和各国朋友交流和顺利闯过求学路上大大小小的外语考试不无裨益。
  三年说长不长,说短也不短,应如何规划方能“兴趣考试两不误”呢?笔者建议广大初中学生不宜过早准备中考,原因有三:
  一、过早的准备初三下学期的中考没有意义,是因为备考的实质乃复习已学知识和研究考试技巧,因此在还没有掌握大量的英语知识之前何谈“复习”,又如何“复习”呢?所以过早的备考是徒有虚名的。
  二、过早的备战中考会侵蚀甚至磨灭自己对学习英语的兴趣从而丧失很多能真正提高自身英语水平的机会。人在备考和学习中的心态是迥异的:备考的心是功利的,一心想着如何战胜试题,博取高分,其他的都变得并不重要了;而学习的心是开放的,它接受自己喜欢的知识,也因此迎来了进步的机会。常言道,考试考的好并不代表水平高。考试分高但仍是英语哑巴的学生不在少数,用大部分的学习时间备考而忽略了实际英语交际能力的锻炼,实在令人痛心!
  三、过长的备考状态反而不利于考试。考试的准备时间一般以半年时间为宜,对一些不熟悉的领域的考试可以准备九个月到一年,长于这个准备时间,人就会很自然的对这门考试产生厌烦情绪和抗拒甚至逃避心理了。中考所考的英语绝非学生所陌生的,半年的复习时间是足够的。
  因此,笔者建议学生从初三的寒假开始整理和归纳初中所学的英语知识。复习的时候先把知识形成知识网络,并适当了解初中英语和高中英语的差距以清晰为自己定位。在临考前三个月进行足够量的做题训练,边训练边检查自己的知识漏洞,然后充满信心的上考场。
  那么学生在初中三年的前两年半时间内应如何规划自己的英语学习呢?为此笔者提出三点建议:
  一、培养对英语学习之兴趣,提高实际英语应用能力。笔者遇到一些学生总是说自己对英语不感兴趣,原因是他们觉得自己不是学英语的“料”。但根据我自己的经验,我认为“天分”是在兴趣中发现的,而兴趣是可以培养的。一个人不可能在没有接触一个东西之前就知道自己在这方面“有天分”,而是因为投入了,沉迷了,再逐渐发现自己不但爱它而且能把它做好。而“兴趣”也是一个很有个性的精灵,它不会主动靠近你,只有你先亲近了它,而且是连续坚持一段时间的主动亲近,它才会慢慢地进驻你的内心,说不定到了哪天你蓦然回首,就发现你再也离不开它了。所以,如果你对英语太矜持,是无法体验“兴趣”和“乐趣”的。
  提高实际英语能力,尤其应注重英语口语和听力的提高。到了初三,课程安排日益紧凑,各科复习的任务也越来越重,学生会觉得越来越难找机会练习口语。初一、初二不多学多练,更待何时?事实上,根据中考近年频繁的改革,对初中生英语水平和能力的要求已经发生巨大变化:从以往的重语法轻应用转移为重应用轻语法,即更看重初中学生实际运用英语交流和学习的能力。以20xx年中考改革为例,取消补全对话的题目而历史性的增加英语口试考核,就明显体现出题者不再满足于考生会选择运用交际英语,更要求考生能通过自己的嘴巴把话说出来,同时对初中生英语的语音语调也是很看重的。而今年的改革还包括增加阅读理解和书面表达的分值,也体现了这种倾向,因为阅读理解是考核考生了解别人观点的能力,而写作则考核考生表达自己想法的能力。相应的,今年的语法题做了大幅削减:取消补全句子(即词性转换)的题型,单项填空也从历年的近30题锐减为只有20题。中考改革的种种迹象表明,初中学生的英语能知道多少不是最重要的,能用上多少才是最重要的。
  二、学习英语语言,就要学习西方文化。相信大家都难忘电影《Titanic》中令人震撼的一幕幕灾难场景。是什么造成这艘号称当时世界上最大最坚固的客轮沉入深海?是一座冰山。一座冰山之所以有如此威力撞沉Titanic,不是因为它有多高,而是在海面之下掩藏着相当于冰山水上体积4倍的冰山主体。同样的,英语之所以有如此魅力吸引无数英语爱好者终生孜孜不倦的追求探索,并非完全源于语言本身,更引人入胜的是语言外衣之下沉积数百年丰富的西方文化内涵。学英语并不仅在于学语言本身,而更需要学习西方那一套丰富多彩的文化内容。作为中国人,我们当然也要了解自己的文化,然后把中西文化比较一下,就会当即发现很多有趣之处。对同一件事,西方人想问题和我们想问题有什么不同?他们有哪些生活习惯和我们不同,又有哪些相同的地方?等等。
  事实已经证明,掌握更多英语国家文化的学生,在英语成绩和大小考试中表现更优越。了解了更多的文化背景,在阅读英语文段,听对话或短文和在语法题中体验语境都有非常明显的帮助。
  三、平时积累更多单词,做好储备。不少学生恐惧英语的原因就是难过单词关,而影响学生表现的也往往体现在单词量上。备考的时候不是储备单词的最好时机,要真正掌握以致能运用一定量的单词是需要长期积累的,因此从初一开始就应该狠下功夫开始储备。
  记忆单词和学英语一样,是没有捷径的,只能狠下功夫,但有方法可掌握。关于记忆单词的方法新东方的很多老师都已介绍很多,各种英语学习的书籍也有不少可供选择,笔者在这里不作无谓的重复。最重要的是,要选择适合自己的背单词方法,一旦找对了方法,并形成用功的习惯,语感就会不期而至,到时记忆新单词也不再是刻意的事。
  总而言之,英语学习不是一朝半夕的事情,把握好初中三年的英语学习,日后就有“潇洒学英语”的资本。笔者衷心希望所有初中学生为自己的英语打下坚实的基础,成功决战中考,考上最理想的高中。

  一、总则:
  1、坚持每一天,充分利用一切可以利用的时间学英语。没有持之以恒的学习和大量的时将做保障,一切都是空谈。
  2、每天听写一篇文章,以此文章为中心,展开一天的学习。
  3、听说读写译五项都要练,以听说为主。
  4、求质不求量,把听写的文章彻底搞懂足矣,不要好大喜功,贪大贪快。扎扎实实,按部就班,是学好英语的必经之路。
  5、把零碎的时间充分利用起来学英语,不断地重复。
  6、听写是个学习英语的好方法,要继续加强。
  7、早睡早起学英语。
  8、抓住一套教材足矣,不要盲目的更换教材。
  9、每天学习英语必须要有详细可行的计划,必须坚决执行,没有任何借口。
  10、相信自己,一定能够学好英语。
  二、分则:
  (一)听力:
  1、除周末外,每天晚上10:00——12:00听写一篇五分钟左右的短文。着重听力后的分析过程。
  2、早晚都随身带MP3,一有空闲时间就反复听这篇短文,直到听烂为止。
  3、周末看一部外国电影,复习就内容,检查一周来的学习计划执行情况。

  以前高中时期学英语的时候可能更强调应试(语法词汇都很程式化),到了大学阶段应该注重听说读写译综合发展和英语的实际运用。
  1.听说。听是输入,说是输出,所以听力是口语的前提。你可以常上英语学习网站,比如普特(putclub)、沪江英语(hjenglish)上面有很多听力材料,有不同的难度梯度。如果你本身英语还不错的话,可以从上面多找一些VOA、BBC和CNN的新闻和报道(有音频有视频),然后做精听练习。先听一两遍,搞明白main idea,然后再以句子意群为单位,精确地repeat其中的每句话(重复的时候注意模仿原音中的发音、语调、停顿等)。这样的训练可以很实在的提高你的英语听力实力。经过一段时间(一个月、一学期...)的密集训练,你就会发现听英语的时候不再是“朦朦胧胧”的,而是很清楚的知道老外在讲什么。

  2.阅读和写作。其实中国大部分学生的英文写作能力是对付考试的,所以这种文章都有套路,词汇运用也有限。阅读是积累词汇,扩大知识面和信息量的最佳途径。推荐大学生多看看外刊(Newsweek新闻周刊、Time时代周刊、Economist经济学家、Times泰晤士报、Guardian卫报等等),从这些报纸杂志的文章里,你能涉猎到西方社会的文化、经济、政治各个层面,而且熟悉西方人的逻辑和思辨。这些外刊都有其网站,可以定期上去浏览,并保存一些视角新颖、文风犀利的文章,做做翻译练习。

  然后,对于以后找工作,或者是选择自己想要从事的职业,英语也是一个分水岭,英语的优势绝对会让你比别人多很多机会。

  一、学习目标:
  1. 3个月能用英语进行普通的口语交流,6个月能进行商务、技术类交流;
  2. 3个月能听懂voa慢速,6个月能听懂voa常速;
  3. 单词量达到5000以上;
  4. 能进行公文、邮件、技术应用类文章的书写。
  二、学习计划:
  1.每天学习英语时间不小于2个小时,每周学习时间不小于12个小时。其中,考虑出差、工作等因素,安排一天休息,学习天数每周6天,一天时间休息。
  2.每天保证一定的听力的时间,至少15分钟的时间,集中注意力,并有意识地去记忆好的句子。
  3.日常思考的时候,尝试用英语思考、想问题以培养语感。
  4.每天早上早起7:00听一段voa或者bbc的广播新闻,可以在上班路上听,时间不小于15分钟,建议听语速较快一点的文章。
  5.每天中午12:30-13:15拿出45分钟用于观看美剧、纪录片等英语短片,也可背单词或句子。
  6.每天晚上拿出1个小时进行英文听写,新概念英语背诵,单词记忆,口语练习等内容的学习。
  7.每个周末对本周的学习情况进行总结和评论,并以周记的形式进行记录。
  细则
  听力:
  1.从voa(specialenglish)做起。每天听写1篇。一定要坚持。
  2.每周坚持看美剧,先从《绝望的主妇》开始。初步定在每周6晚。
  精读:
  1.学习新概念英语2-3,背诵课文,每周不小于5篇。
  2.重点领会作者的写作手法,记忆好的结构性的句子和内容性的句子,根据中文内容进行英文翻译,进行对比。
  单词:
  1.系统背诵四级词汇。选用星火的四级词汇书。每周3个wordlist,这样3个月时间可以全部背完。词汇是重中之重,万万不可轻视!
  2.利用手机软件背学过的新概念英语单词。
  口语:
  1.每天坚持听以及复述一段交际、商务英语,使用有道英语的对话教材。

  语法:
  主要还是靠使用中掌握,坚持写英语日记的话,会对语法和词汇都大有好处。当然有一本语法书也是很重要的。
