学习成绩不是非常好，但我却在学习过程中收获了很多。首先是我端正了学习态度。在我考进高中时，脑子里想是好好放松从重压下解放出来自己，不想考上好大学，然而很快我就明白了，高中需努力认真学习。在老师谆谆教导下，看到周围同学们拼命学习，我也打消了初衷，开始高中学习旅程。懂得了运用学习方法同时注重独立思考。要想学好只埋头苦学是不行，要学会“方法”，做事情方法。古话说好，授人以鱼不如授人以渔，我来这里目就是要学会“渔”，但说起来容易做起来难，我换了好多种方法，做什么都勤于思考，遇有不懂地方能勤于请教。在学习时，以“独立思考”作为自己座右铭，时刻不忘警戒。随着学习进步，我不止是学到了课本知识，我心智也有了一个质飞跃，我认为这对于将来很重要。我与身边许多同学，也建立了良好学习关系，互帮互助，克服难关。我在三年高中学习中，我认真积极参加每次实验，锻炼了自我动手和分析问题能力，受益匪浅。

学期已将近尾声，班内各项工作进入了总结阶段。在此，我就本学期全班学习情况作出总结：
总体：本学期为同学们高中第一学期，因此学习方面也需要时间去适应。由于高中学习模式与初中大不相同，开始时许多同学表现出不适应，对于掌握高中学习方法仍感觉有些困难。一方面，经过大约一个学期，大部分同学已经逐渐赶上高中学习生活节奏，12阶采点(第一次月考)位居4个国际班中(也是全年级)第二;期中考试和14阶采点位居第三。但另一方面，还有不少地方有待改进，如：与任课老师沟通自己学习情况这一方面仍应加强;作为学习委员，我也应当加强沟通同学与老师桥梁作用。
以下为各科目情况分析：
1.英语：此项科目为我班实力较强科目，连续在大型考试中排名年级第一。分析原因，主要由于课堂练习数量较多，曹老师对我们要求也较为严格。面对是强项英语，我们应当努力保持优势，继续认真对待英语学科，专心听课，严肃对待每次课堂练习。
2.数学：在三门主课中，数学相对来说是薄弱环节，国际班中第四排名自然不能令人满意。我认为原因如下：数学软性作业自觉完成情况不太理想，因此练习机会偏少，解题熟练程度欠缺，使数学考试能力差较大;考前复习范围不够全面;数学课上有少数同学底下讲话，使老师不得不停下来整顿纪律。所以，针对弱项数学，加倍练习是一重要举措，上课听讲也重要。我相信，投入比别人更多精力，数学不会困扰我们。
3.语文：总得来说还可以。主要和另外两个科目一样：多花精力才能学好。语文主要是名著阅读偏弱，可能是由于难以理解《红楼梦》，或者对其感兴趣。我认为，边读评论边读原著是提高兴趣极好方法;其次，名著阅读需要细致。
4.理化：由于考试较少，只能作出粗略概括。从本学期作业情况，可见物理化学学习还应当加强。不少同学反映是：上课几乎全懂，作业却有较大困难。所以，上课不能只满足于听懂，而要理解并运用。另外，遇到难题向老师请教是必要。最后，掌握数学工具，是学好理科基础。
5.政史地生等副科：由于课外时间大多会被以上五门学科占用，因此，利用课上时间就显得尤其重要。当然，平时也要抽出时间进行复习巩固。总之对副科也必须重视。
综上所述，即将过去一学期有辉煌一面，也有需要改进部分。我们应当总结过去，展望未来。作为班级学委，下学期，我会在实践中增强自己工作能力同时带领全班更积极快乐地学习。

本学期已经结束，回顾自己过去半年多学委工作历程，感触颇多，现就20XX-20XX学年度第一学期工作情况加以总结汇报。
在过去一年里，我第一次成为学习委员。可是由于经验不足，导致心有余而力不足。还好在接受同学们和老师们建议后，我改正了自己不足，端正了自己工作态度，改进自己工作方式，找到一条正确工作之后认真服从学校工作安排，有条不紊开展落实日常工作。
半年来，我主要做了以下工作：
一、促进学习成绩发展。开学初，我尽其职帮同学们报选修课，减轻了同学们负担。平时，我积极地带领同学们进行各项学习。同时，在每天早上，我在黑板上写上一天课表提醒同学们注意该上哪节课。课后，我也会耐心地帮同学们解答疑难问题。
二、毫不放松地做好作业收集工作，巩固和加强学习基础。加强作业收集统计工作，促进教学水平发展。减少作业不交和交白本现象，使得作业完成质量大幅度提升。
三、积极做好考勤工作，公正公平督促检查。在过去半年里，我认真做好每一天考勤，及时记录同学们上课情况，监督检查同学们到课率，公平公正地对待每一位同学。
四、提高学习积极性，建设良好班级学风。我会想方设法鼓励大家，让大家按时上早、晚自习，提高全体同学学习积极性，积极为大家营造良好学习氛围，让同学们都取得理想成绩。
五、收集同学对老师意见和老师教学动态。在很多情况下，老师无法和大家直接打交道，学习委员是老师与学生之间沟通桥梁。学习委员要及时地向专业老师提出同学们建议、疑问，熟悉老师对同学们基本要求;向学校反映考勤情况、了解课程教学安排等等。
担任学委之后，我也积极参加班集体各项活动，认真完成老师布置每一项任务。同时，我也更加注重自己学习情况，做到上课认真听讲，课后多问老师，在期末复习阶段组织大家共同复习力争取得好成绩。但同时，我也清醒地意识到自己不足：作为班委，我还不能很好地起到带头作用，偶尔还会迟到。学习没有耐心、恒心。有工作可能方式有错，得不到大家响应和积极主动支持。我想在以后班级工作中，我会尽力进一步改正。保持自己学习成绩并带动大家一起把学习成绩提上去，和高二八班所有成员一道为建设良好班风学风而努力奋斗。

First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.
At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

I am glad to be here to share my opinions with all of you. My topic today is about Internet.
With the development of technology, more and more people are fond of using Internet. It is particularly popular among young people. Just
like the coin has two sides, internet also has its own advantages and disadvantages.
First of all, the Internet has brought people great convenience in getting information, entertainment and contact with each other. As for our students, it is a useful tool when we meet problems. When we are tired, a piece of light music will help us relax. If we have free time, we can enjoy movies or interesting cartoons. What’s more, we can also watch live programs on the internet or see it later if we are not available at that time.
But there is also bad influence. Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games, and some even play games all night. Because of lacking in sleep, those students can not focus on in the class . As a result, they may fail in the exam. When they realize it is wrong to spend too much time playing games, it’s already too late.
I have remembered such a piece of news . An excellent student flunked (考试不及格) because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games. He spent nearly all the money on games, which was earned by his father"s selling blood. When his father knelt down to beg him to return to school, he was too numb to show any regret.
The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents, which affects teenagers " mental health. Many games involve violence, such as fighting and killing. When they enjoy the pleasure of success, a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them, which may induce future violent behaviour in their life.
So when computers" entertaining function is highly spoken of ,such a problem does deserve our serious concern.
In addition, long time"s working before computer also does harm to health. The radiation from the computer can arose many uncomfortable feelings., like a headache, poor eyesight.
At last, people who are fond of making friends on line should also be careful. Many convicts use Internet as a way to cheat. Although it has many disadvantages , Internet has become an indispensable part of people"s life in recent years. In my point of view, it’s wrong to blame Internet itself, it’s all depend on the way we use it. If we use it in a right way, it can be one of the best friends in our life. That "s all , thank you !

it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.
frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).but why can’t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture. there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand,the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend,chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.
with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no. what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture. only by educating can we preserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us.
